Summary:

Daisy and Mike wanted to follow God’s call. They longed to follow in the footsteps of generations of missionaries who sacrificed their lives so others might know God. After years of training in South Korea, the aspiring missionary couple finished their seminary degrees. Their basic education was complete, and they both knew that long-term, they wanted to share the gospel cross-culturally.

They thought about moving to Japan immediately to help build up the lethargic Japanese church, but their spirits were not at ease.  They sensed that “Healthy missions requires a healthy church.”  Daisy and Mike realized they could not serve in missions until they had a strong and healthy church to send them out.
